MaterialEst Pro ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user of our mobile application ("the App").

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information needed to provide the service:

• Name — provided during account registration
• Email address — used for account login and OTP verification
• Project data — estimate inputs and project folders you create within the App, stored locally on your device
• Subscription status — managed by RevenueCat (see Section 5)

We do not collect location data, contacts, photos, or any other device information.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and authenticate your account via email and one-time passcode (OTP)
• To send you transactional emails (OTP codes, password resets)
• To manage your subscription and trial period
• To respond to support requests

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your project estimates and folder data are stored locally on your device. Your account credentials are stored securely on our servers. All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

4. Email Communications

We send transactional emails only — these include OTP verification codes and password reset links. We do not send marketing or promotional emails unless you have explicitly opted in.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following trusted third-party services:

• RevenueCat — manages in-app subscriptions and purchase verification. RevenueCat's privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy.
• Google Play — distributes the App on Android devices. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.

6. Children's Privacy

MaterialEst Pro is intended for use by adults (18 years and over). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Your Rights (UK GDPR)

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Object to or restrict our processing of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time

8. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it longer.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
